On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the York Studios’ Michaelangelo Campus, a state-of-the-art film and television production complex at 1410 Studio Avenue. This 10 acre site was transformed over the next two years into a 175,000 square foot facility.

York Studios, Michaelangelo Campus is New York City’s new state-of-the-art film and television production campus located just 8 miles from Midtown Manhattan in the Soundview section of the Bronx. The newly constructed 225,000 square foot facility, designed to accommodate all production types and sizes, is situated on 5 acres with an adjacent 5 acres available for use as a backlot. Easily accessible from all City boroughs and the surrounding Tri-State area, Michaelangelo Campus offers production teams a private gated complex with 24/7 security, up to 200 parking spaces, 3 on-site Con Edison transformers for independent studio power, high speed internet access, and WIFI.
